More often than not, loading of commercial vehicles includes a high risk of slips and falls. However, slips and falls are not normal, they result from an abnormality in the environment that suddenly makes a routine act dangerous.
A slip occurs when there is a sudden loss of traction between the shoe and the walking surface. AST coatings for commercial vehicles minimize this risk and ensures a safe working environment in all loading and unloading situations.
U.S. Postal Service
When Grumman Allied was tasked with supplying almost 100,000 long life vehicles for the U.S. Postal service, they called us. They needed an anti-slip coating for the cargo area of the trucks that would match the incredible durability of their vehicles. They also needed a coating that could be applied quickly and easily during their fast production process.
Unfortunately, the perfect coating did not exist. But since Grumman makes the F-14 Tomcats that smash into our incredibly tough anti-slip coatings on Navyaircraft carriers, they were confident that we could invent the anti-slip coating they needed. And we did. It will be on every new U.S. Postal truck you’ll see for years to come.
